Kristen is an experienced trusts and estates attorney with nearly two decades of practice devoted to helping individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners plan thoughtfully for the future. Her practice focuses on estate and trust planning, asset protection, trust and estate administration, special needs planning, and long-term care planning.

Kristen advises clients on sophisticated wealth-transfer strategies designed to minimize gift and estate taxes while protecting beneficiaries from creditor exposure and unforeseen risks. She regularly drafts comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, advance healthcare directives, and powers of attorney, tailoring each plan to the unique goals and circumstances of her clients.

Kristen earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2007 and went on to receive a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., with a concentration in private wealth and estate planning. Her advanced tax training allows her to approach estate planning with both technical precision and practical insight.

She is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New York and is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Trust & Estates and Elder Law Sections. Kristen also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Committed to service, Kristen regularly provides pro bono legal assistance to veterans and individuals who are terminally ill. Earlier in her career, she volunteered with the Truancy Intervention Project, working directly with students and families to address the underlying causes of chronic absenteeism and promote long-term academic success.

When she is not assisting families with their planning needs, Kristen enjoys spending time with her two sons, attending their sporting events, traveling together, learning about new cultures, and experiencing new restaurants.
