Joanna Kornafel represents secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees, and acquirers in Chapter 11 cases and the litigation that surrounds them. Her civil and commercial practice includes CUTPA claims, business torts, contract disputes, and debtor/creditor litigation, and she moves between negotiated workouts and contested court proceedings depending on where the leverage sits.
She was named an ABA Business Law Fellow (2019–2021) and has been an American Bar Foundation Fellow since 2017.
