Alyssa Poruban
Alyssa Poruban joined Green & Sklarz LLC as a Litigation Paralegal in February 2021. She works closely with the litigation team and bankruptcy lawyers on bankruptcy cases and assists with preparing and filing legal documents. She is passionate about learning new things and growing effectively and efficiently into her role at the firm.
Alyssa has worked as a paralegal for over 7 years, and her experience in the field has spanned over several other law firms. She was also a legal intern for the Connecticut Secretary of the State Office. Alyssa graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law. She obtained her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Connecticut.
When she’s not busy with work, Alyssa considers herself a “foodie” and loves to try new cuisines and restaurants. She also loves to spend time outside on hikes and long walks with her rescue dog, Riley, and is a fan of watching reality TV shows. Alyssa is an avid volunteer for the ALS Association — Connecticut Chapter and participates annually in their event, Walk to Defeat ALS, to help raise awareness.
